Care Packages Sent to Support Our Troops

A good place to start this blog would be to show what has already been done to support our troops who are in need of basic supplies in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I am currently supporting 23 different troops, with most of these contacts being located on FOBs (Foward Operating Bases) with no PX (army-version of a mini mart) to purchase things such as toothpaste or deodorant.

If we don’t send it to them, they go without.

I sent my first care package on September 10th, 2010, fully aware that 9/11 was looming.  These guys and gals would need something to smile about.  We are nearing the end of November with less than three months passed, and I have reached 55 boxes that were already sent out to 27 contacts in time for Christmas. Think that is unbelievable?
