OCG Update – New Military Contacts

We are in a new wave of military contacts for this next year.  We have bid fond farewells to some of our favorite troops and units, and have begun the process of establishing communications with a new group of contacts in Afghanistan, Iraq, Bahrain, & Kuwait.

This small organization consisting of the Fair & Atkins families has the capability of supporting over 50 troops through December of this year! We just picked up 35 new contacts via AnySoldier.com, and The Father Brown Letters to the Troops have been flowing out of our house on a weekly basis.  Over fifty boxes of hygiene items were packed last week, and we are ready to ship out that and more with your help!

This weekend (July 15th & 16th) you can find the founder of Operation Christmas Glory, Jennifer Fair, in front of the local Grocery Outlet in King City, OR.  You are most welcome to come and chat, and find out how you can help our efforts in sending our military personnel overseas the gift of home.

It’s as simple as a check for $12.95.

That covers the cost of postage for one care package to be sent to a troop in need of basic necessities such as toothpaste, deodorant, bodywash, and baby wipes.  Each package has an estimated value of $125 worth of hygiene items that can be shared and distributed to troops in Forward Operating Bases that have no access to stores in the middle of a desert war zone.

If you would like to help, please contact Jennifer at jennfair007@gmail.com or call 503-841-3418.

Thank you for your support!

*Also, a grateful word of thanks goes to Tony and Tina Slyter, owners of the Grocery Outlets in King City & Newberg, who graciously offered their support and encouragement of our military men and women. Thank you!!
