Soldiers Know All About… Groundhog Day

Okay, campers, rise and shine.

Don’t forget your booties
because it’s cold out there today.

It’s cold out there every day…

It’s the one thing I hear from the soldiers… that the arrival of letters and care packages breaks the monotony of the “Groundhog Day” experience.  (I know exactly what it’s like to live out Groundhog Day as well, I am living with Father Brown. You have my sympathy!)

So, to ward off those Groundhog Day blues I decided to send off my Valentines to the troops!  (Along with an extra-special box of Valentine treats to Sandy for the incredible gift – see previous post…) If you haven’t already, you could still get a Valentine in the mail to a soldier overseas.  I don’t imagine they’ll be upset about receiving a letter, irregardless of when it arrives!

If you need guidance on how to send care packages or letters to the troops, read:

    Happy Groundhog Day!

(I fear it is a long winter ahead of us, though.)
